What is Ole South USA?

Ole South USA is a destination theme park and resort showcasing everything great and special about the South. It's a place for friends and families to escape to and enjoy a safe, exciting and wholesome outing. 

Why build Ole South USA?

There has been an emotional calling for years now for a project like this to be built in Middle Tennessee from the general public, and it has been concluded by the market analysis feasibility study that this region can support a destination theme park such as Ole South USA.  

What is crowd funding?

Crowd funding describes the collective cooperation, attention and trust by people who network and pool their money and other resources together, usually via the Internet, to support efforts initiated by other people, organizations or start-up companies.  

Why are you using crowd funding at this stage of the project?

Crowd funding is a great way to guage the interest level of the general public for a project and receive immediate feedback. It also gives the developers a great tool to use when seeking longterm capital funding. Also, in recent years early stage investment capital has not been as readily available as it was several years ago and many entrepreneurs are looking at other creative financing methods such as crowd funding.

When can Pioneer Club members expect to receive their perks?

Pioneer Club members should expect to recieve their perks within 30 days of the date they become a Pioneer Club member. 

What work has been completed on Ole South USA?

A comprehensive feasibility study has been completed by the foremost attraction economist in the country, Fred Cochrane. The concept has been honed, refined and developed into a marketable venture. Relational due diligence with local authorities, chambers and businessmen has been established.  Preliminary site locations have been scouted.  A team of professionals has been identified to assist with the next phase of development.  

What is the next phase of development for Ole South? 

 The goal at this juncture is to commission the design of the initial master plan (development programing book) for what will be Ole South USA theme park. Once this work is completed, all necessary elements will be in place for taking Ole South to the next level of capital funding and continue to move it forward. 

How much funding are you seeking to raise through the crowd funding campaign and what will the funds be used for? 

Crowd funding is still a fairly new method of funding projects so it is not an exact science on how much can be raised. The goal is to raise $85,000 during this crowd funding campaign. The funds will be used for completing the initial master plan and hiring industry specialists to help move Ole South USA forward to the next level of development.   A realistic comprehensive master plan package is an essential tool in "telling the story" to obtain funding to actually build and operate Ole South USA. 

What happens once the initial master plan is completed?

We will combine the market analysis feasibility study with the initial master plan and seek funding from established sources to move on to the next phase of securing land and beginning the schematic and detail design of Ole South USA. 

When will the park open?

Once construction begins, it is estimated to be completed within 18 months. 

Who owns Ole South USA?

A private limited liability company (LLC) owns Ole South USA. 

Is it going to be like typical theme parks with rides and live performances? 

Yes, it will have state-of-the-art rides and live show performances in addition to cutting edge "edutainment" venues.
