As soon as David Webb mentioned a college football ride on the podcast, the SDC Superbowl or Huss Flipper were the first rides that came to mind. An attraction like this would fit the theme perfectly; each gondola could be themed to a different football team. It would also provide a very unique experience for families, as I think these rides are quite rare in the US. After hearing for so many years about over-ambitious plans for Opryland replacements which never panned out (remember Thrillopolis?), it's so exciting to finally see some promising developments. I'll definitely be spreading the word, and I'm looking forward to keeping up with the latest news. Keep up the great work, guys!

Ever since I was little I have wanted to design a theme park, really I have. YouTube Rct3imagineer and watch my YouTube videos of roller coasters I have built. They may even inspire some your rides :) it would be a dream! I promise everyone here in clarksville is in high hopes for ole south. You guys should work on spreading the word more, then you really would get funding. Maybe try radio stations? Or even a news interview. My questions is there any way that the community will be able to physically get involved in any way? I know I would love to help! Like I said this is my life long dream, hands down. I stand right behind every person that is for this development. I hope everything works out, I know if there is a chance I could work for ole south I would be one of the first to apply :)

We support the development of your Ole South USA Theme Park. In fact, we invite it! Opryland Theme Park was such a great place for the family and everyone, but when it closed down, we were in shock!! Let's face it, today there just aren't enough places to take your kids and not have to worry about what you'll find when you get there. We have family and friends in all corners of the US and they visit here every year. We don't have anyplace to take them, except restaurants. That's not so bad, but you can't eat all the time! We need your park!

My husband and I have three children and are disappointed with the lack of options for family-oriented entertainment in our area. Oh this all sounds so exciting. I can't wait. I was truly saddened when Opryland closed. I had so many wonderful childhood memories there, my husband and I went on dates there when we were dating and continued after we were married. When it closed it's like a big part of the kid in all of us died.
I'm also glad the new park will be sharing the atmosphere of the family theme park and music roots. I know this is a place we will be carrying our son to make some childhood memories of his own.

When my children were young we ALWAYS bought season passes every year to Opryland. It was great we could take the kids up and spend a few hours and come home. No pressure to do it all everytime we went. Always went for the special dates like, Christmas, Easter, and Halloween. My children always said they were going to work at Opryland when they got old enought. Unfortunatly it closed so we are really exicited about a theme park in Middle TN.

We can see that Ole South can help this area redefine itself with our legacy as Music Capital of the world; wonderful, southern roots and family living.
We need more here than sports and more malls. While serving a certain segment of our population they have proven to be a sad substitute for families since Opryland left.
Bring on the Ole South Park! It will be great for those of us here in Marshall & Maury counties and just what all of Middle Tennessee needs.

I am looking forward to having a Theme Park back in the area. I use to have a season pass to Operland years ago, and miss not been able to go. Marshall and Maury would be a great location, it would help for traffic reason and avoid high traffic areas that we have in the Nashville Area.

This is a no-brainer! Nashville needs a major family entertainment attraction. We have to be one of the largest U.S. cities without a theme park!! I will buy season passes...this is long overdue.

Ironically, I was working up in that area on Wednesday and was curious as to how the project was progressing.
With the price of gasoline so expensive, I know I would have purchased season passes to Ole South USA and would have taken my family to it many times this past summer.
We have been to Alabama Adventure, and have plans to go to Lake Winnepesaukah in the next couple of weeks, but both are not close enough to purchase season passes in anticipation of making multiple trips due to the high cost of travel right now.
